Extravaganza 2016

Come to KME on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for our annual KME Extravaganza!! You and your family will have the opportunity to participate in many fun activities including:

• Carnival Games
• Inflatables
• Face Painting and Tattoos
• Yummy Concessions
• Balloon Art
• Split the Pot Raffle
• Cake Walk
• Basket Raffle
• Silent Auction
• Classroom Art Auction and so much more!

Some key things to keep in mind about Extravaganza:

• All of the activities (except for the auctions) require tickets. Take advantage of our pre-sale ticket offer! Click on the following link to access more information about Extravaganza and to get the order form for the pre-sale tickets -- Extravaganza Pre-Sale Ticket Information. The pre-sale ticket form and money are due back to KME by Friday, March 4.
• We have amazing classroom baskets that are raffled off during Extravaganza. Please consider donating to your classroom basket so that they can stay fabulous! Donations are due by Monday, February 29. Click here to see the basket themes for each classroom: Basket Themes
• Please note that there will be no parking at KME the day of Extravaganza with the exception of all-day volunteers and people needing the handicapped parking spots. You will park in the Kings High School parking lot and ride over on the FREE shuttle. The shuttle will run during the whole event!

Happy 2016!

We are kicking off 2016 with one of our most anticipated events -- the KME Dance! This year, the KME PTO will be hosting the "KME Sock Hop" where KME students can bring their favorite adult and dance the night away in 1950's attire! Please join us on Saturday, January 23 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at KME where you will be greeted with yummy desserts, fun decorations and of course, music all evening.

Reservations and payment are due back to KME by Wednesday, January 13. Your child should have received an invitation at school but here is a link to the form -- KME Sock Hop Invitation.

Welcome Back!!

We are so excited to welcome all of our KME families back to the 2015-2016 school year! This site will provide you with all of the information that you will need to stay current on ALL of the KME PTO news!!

We are working hard to update this site to include all of the new information so be sure to check it often. In addition to this site, we will also be sending you a weekly PTO newsletter via email that will also include valuable information and updates. PTO Meeting NEXT Tuesday and Kings Community Meeting TONIGHT

Just a reminder that our April PTO meeting will be next Tuesday, April 14th from 2-3 in the math/science lab.  We hold these daytime meetings a couple of times a year to give parents who work during the evening a chance to attend.  We will be back to our regular evening meeting in May.

Please join Kings Superintendent Timothy J. Spinner and Treasurer Shaun Bevan for a Community Meeting TONIGHT as they discuss the district’s current financial situation, the district’s financial forecast, and information concerning the upcoming Permanent Improvement Levy, which will be on the May 5, 2015 ballot. The meeting will take place in the Kings Junior High Multipurpose from from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. A brief question and answer session will immediately follow the presentation.

KME Extravaganza!!

It's Extravaganza Time! Come join us on Saturday, March 21 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and have a blast! There will be games, food, drinks, HUGE raffle baskets, silent auctions (including really cool class art projects!), balloon art, a cake walk and much more! Also, there will be a shuttle bus from the high school so you won't need to park in the mud!

This highlights everything that you need to know about the event including the Pre-Sale Ticket Form. If you order your tickets early and turn in the form and money by Friday, March 13, you will save!!

Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event. Ticket prices are as follows:

$0.50 -- Single Tickets (for food, drinks, games, inflatables, etc...)
$1.00 -- Basket Raffle Tickets
$5.00 -- Inflatable Wristbands for unlimited jumping
$1.00 or $10.00 for "arm length" -- Split the Pot Tickets

We are currently taking orders for KME Spirit Wear! Please look for information in today's Friday Folders but you can view the information (in color!) and print the order form from our blog. Just go to "Events/Fundraisers" and look for the "KME Spirit Wear" heading.
